The KELPIE package is the name of Kraken Subsea’s equipment spread specifically designed and dedicated to topside testing of pipeline and bundle systems. The package consists of all equipment spreads required to perform pre-commissioning including:
- Wireless test cabin
- Built in electrical flooding & pressurisation pumps
- Pre-built and pre-tested wireless manifolds
Features
Topside Pre-Commissioning
Our integrated test cabin comes with electrically driven flooding and pressurisation pumps that, when coupled with our wireless manifolds, allows for total control over topside pipeline pre-commissioning operations.
Improved Safety
Personnel safety is significantly improved due to minimal connections, pre-tested manifolds and wireless electrical valve actuation, reducing the requirement for personnel to interact with pressurised systems and equipment.
Data Logging
All data from wireless sensors such as total volume, flowrate, pressure, temperature etc can be recorded and stored remotely on the connected PC every second with additional backups available on remote electronic devices for added peace of mind.
