Subsea Pressure Testing
Subsea Pressurisation Skid
Our subsea pressurisation unit provides a step-change to traditional pressure testing operations by reducing mobilisation/demobilisation times, improving safety, reducing deployment/setup times along with reducing the carbon footprint and virtually eliminating stabilisation times usually associated with this operation from a traditional back deck spread.
As an industry first, this allows pressure testing operations to be completed entirely on the seabed utilising the power available form an ROV to drive onboard pressurisation pumps.
From pressurisation, system isolation, monitoring, confirmation of acceptance and depressurisation, Kraken Subsea has got you covered.
Features
Autonomous Chemical Injection
Similar to many of our products, the unit is also capable of autonomous and variable chemical injection.
Meaning that, if using filtered treated seawater as your pressurisation medium, the system is able to consistently regulate chemical dosage of the testing medium.
Controlled Pressurisation
Kraken Subsea’s subsea pressurisation unit has several subsea pumps capable of pressurisation flowrates from 0.05litres/min up to 30litres/min.
Power is supplied via ROV, meaning a vessel only needs to be present for set up and pressurisation, once test pressure is achieved, the system can be isolated and vessel disconnected.
Safer Depressurisation
Depending on requirements, our units can have pre-designed orifice plates to control depressurisation rate or variable flow valves that are controlled via the depressurisation rate instantaneously.
This not only optimises the depressurisation process but ensures it is carries out in a steady and controlled fashion.
